This lecture presents a combination of theatrical improvisation and hypnotherapy aimed to facilitate healing transformation of clients’ dysfunctional beliefs and attitudes. The improv/ hypnotherapy combination is effective, safe, and easy to practice because it accentuates what we are doing all the time; improvising within the parameters of the subconscious trance. An uniqueness of this combination is in its playful format which is conducive to learning. Since this method is anchored in the present time, it does not require analyzing of the past (implicit memories) and therefore eliminates the risk of re-traumatization. [Rocki, W. 2020]
